How to Register a New Organisation

Introduction

As a system administrator, you can register new organisations to the CAREFUL platform. This process creates a new organisation and sends an SMS invitation to the designated administrator, who will complete their account setup via a verification link.

Before You Start

• You must be logged in as a System Administrator
• You'll need the following information for the new organisation:
  • Organisation name (must be unique)
  • Administrator's first name and last name
  • Administrator's mobile phone number (they'll receive an SMS invitation)

Steps

1. From the sidebar, click My Organization
2. Click the Members tab at the top of the screen
3. Click the kebab menu (three dots ⋮) in the top-right corner
4. Select Add organisation from the dropdown menu
5. The Create Organisation dialog appears with a form containing four required fields
6. In the Organisation name field, enter the unique name for the new organisation (e.g., "City General Hospital")
7. In the First Name of Administrator field, enter the administrator's first name
8. In the Last name of Administrator field, enter the administrator's last name
9. In the Cell / Mobile phone number of Administrator field:
   • Select the country code from the dropdown (shows country flags)
   • Enter the administrator's mobile phone number
10. Click the Submit button to create the organisation
11. The dialog closes and the new organisation appears in the organisations table
12. The designated administrator receives an SMS with a registration verification link
13. The administrator clicks the link in the SMS to complete their account setup
14. Once verified, you can toggle the organisation's Verified status to "Yes" from the organisations table

Tips

• Organisation names must be unique across the entire CAREFUL platform. If you receive an error, try a different name or add a qualifier (e.g., "City General Hospital - North Campus")
• The SMS is sent immediately after you click Submit. Make sure the phone number is correct before submitting, as this is how the administrator will access their account
• The administrator's phone number becomes their username for logging into CAREFUL
• You can manage organisation verification status at any time by toggling the Verified field in the organisations table
• The new organisation starts with a blank setup - the administrator will need to create teams, invite users, and add patients
