Introduction
The Members tab displays all clinicians who belong to your team, showing their contact details, duty status, and role. This view helps you quickly see who's available on your team and access their contact information for care coordination.
Before You Start
- You must be a member of the team to view its members list
- No special permissions are required to view team members
Steps
- From the sidebar, select the team you want to view under the Teams section
- The team view opens showing several tabs at the top
- Click the Members tab to view the team members list
- The members table displays with the following information for each team member:
- Profile photo (50px × 50px)
- Full name (first name and SURNAME in uppercase)
- Job title and speciality (below the name)
- Duty status badge showing "On duty" (green) or "Off duty" (dimmed)
- Contact information including bleep/contact number and masked mobile number
- Masked email address
- Team role ("Member" or "Team Owner")
- Unverified status indicator if the member hasn't verified their contact details
To search for a specific member:
- Use the search box at the top of the members table
- Type the member's first or last name in the field (placeholder text: "type the members first or last name ...")
- The table filters in real-time as you type
To sort the members list:
- Click any column header to sort by that column:
- Name - sorts alphabetically by last name
- Contact - sorts by phone number
- Email - sorts alphabetically by email address
- Team Role - sorts by role (Team Owners first)
- Click the same header again to reverse the sort order
To view a member's full profile:
- Click anywhere on the member's row in the table
- You'll navigate to their full user profile page at
/users/{userId}
To perform actions on a member:
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the Actions column on the right
- A dropdown menu appears with available actions based on your permissions and the member's status
- Available actions may include:
- Resend invitation (for pending members)
- Cancel invitation
- Promote to Team Owner / Demote to Team Member
- Remove from team
- Set to ON duty / Set to OFF duty
- Change Cell/Mobile number
- Change Email
- Cancel pending contact change requests
- Edit member details
Tips
- Duty status awareness: The duty badge makes it easy to see at a glance who's currently available on your team. Green "On duty" badges indicate available staff.
- Masked contact details: Phone numbers and emails are partially masked for privacy (e.g., "077******123"). Click the member's row to view full details if you have permission.
- Pending changes indicator: If a member has requested to change their mobile number or email, you'll see a pending change notice below their current contact information.
- Unverified members: Members who haven't verified their mobile or email will show "**unverified" next to their team role. These members may have limited functionality until verified.
- Quick search: The search function is fast - just start typing a name and the table filters immediately without needing to press Enter.
- Mobile view: On mobile devices, the table adapts to a vertical card layout for easier viewing on smaller screens.
