Introduction
The Members tab displays all team members in a sortable table. You can organize the list by name, contact number, email, or team role to quickly find team members or review team composition by different criteria.
Before You Start
- You must be able to view the team (either as a team member, team owner, or organization administrator)
- Navigate to the specific team whose members you want to sort
Steps
To access the members table:
- From the sidebar, select My Teams
- Click on the team name you want to view
- Click the Members tab at the top of the screen
- The members table displays with a default sort by Name (A→Z)
To sort team members:

Click on any column header to sort by that column:
- Name - Sorts by last name
- Contact - Sorts by phone number
- Email - Sorts by email address
- Team Role - Sorts by role (Member or Team Owner)

An arrow icon appears next to the column name showing the sort direction:
- ↓ Arrow down = A→Z (ascending order)
- ↑ Arrow up = Z→A (descending order)

Click the same column header again to reverse the sort direction (the arrow flips)

Click a different column header to sort by that column instead (the previous arrow disappears)
To search while viewing sorted members:
- On desktop, the search field appears in the top navigation bar when on the Members tab
- On mobile, tap the search icon (🔍) to reveal the search field
- Type any part of a member's first or last name in the field with placeholder "type the members first or last name ..."
- The table filters in real-time to show only matching members, maintaining your current sort order
Tips
- Default sorting: The table always starts sorted by Name (A→Z) when you first open the Members tab
- Sort persistence: Your sort preference is NOT saved - if you reload the page, it resets to Name (A→Z)
- Search persistence: Your search query IS saved during your browser session, so switching between tabs preserves your search
- Combined sorting and searching: You can search and sort at the same time - the search filters members first, then the sort order is applied to the filtered results
- Quick identification: Sort by Team Role to quickly see all Team Owners grouped together versus standard Members
- Contact review: Sort by Contact or Email to review member contact information systematically
