How to Register a New Organisation

Introduction

Registering a new organisation allows system administrators to add healthcare providers to the CAREFUL platform. This process creates the organisation and sends an invitation to the designated administrator who will manage users and teams.

Before You Start

• You must be a System Administrator to register new organisations
• You'll need the organisation name and the administrator's contact details
• The administrator will receive an invitation to their mobile phone to set up their account

Steps

1. From the sidebar, select Organisations to view the Manage Organisations page

2. Click the Add organisation button in the top-right corner of the screen (it has a plus icon)

3. In the Create Organisation dialog that appears, enter the following information:

   • Organisation name: Enter the full name of the healthcare organisation (e.g., "St. Mary's Hospital Trust")
   • First Name of Administrator: Enter the first name of the person who will manage this organisation
   • Last name of Administrator: Enter their last name
   • Cell / Mobile phone number of Administrator: Select the country code from the dropdown (defaults to United Kingdom), then enter their mobile number

4. Click the Submit button to create the organisation

5. The dialog closes automatically and the new organisation appears in the organisations table

6. The organisation initially shows "No" under the Verified column. You can toggle this to "Yes" when ready to activate the organisation

7. The administrator receives an SMS invitation to their mobile phone with instructions to set their password and access CAREFUL

Tips

• Country code selection: CAREFUL remembers your last-used country code for faster data entry when registering multiple organisations
• Phone number format: Use international format without spaces or special characters for best results
• Verification status: Keep new organisations unverified until you've confirmed their details and they're ready to start using the platform
• Managing the organisation: Click on any organisation row in the table to view and manage its settings, teams, and users
