Introduction
You can update a team member's profile information including their name, job title, speciality, contact details, and photo. This helps keep your team directory accurate and ensures colleagues can be reached using the correct contact information.
Before You Start
- You must be a Team Owner or Administrator to edit other team members' profiles
- Standard team members can only edit their own profile
- The team member must already be added to the team
Steps
- From the sidebar, select My Teams and click on the team containing the member you want to edit
- Click the Members tab to view all team members
- If needed, use the search box to find the team member by typing their first or last name
- Locate the team member in the table and click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of their row
- Select Edit from the dropdown menu... The "Edit user" dialog box appears
- Update any of the following fields as needed:
- First name - The team member's given name
- Last name - The team member's surname
- Job title - Their role or position (e.g., "Senior Nurse", "Consultant")
- Speciality - Their clinical speciality (e.g., "Cardiology", "Emergency Medicine")
- Contact / Bleep number - Their internal contact or bleep number
- User photo - Click to upload a new profile picture (the Submit button will be disabled while the image uploads)
- Click the Submit button at the bottom of the dialog... The dialog closes and the member table refreshes with the updated information
Tips
- Profile photos help team members quickly identify colleagues, especially useful for large teams or cross-organizational work
- The Contact/Bleep number field is particularly important in clinical settings where staff need to be reached quickly
- Job title and speciality information appears below the team member's name in the members table, making it easy to identify the right person for clinical queries
- You cannot change a user's role (Administrator vs Staff) from this dialog - that field is read-only for display purposes only
- If you see masked phone numbers or email addresses in the table (e.g., "123****567"), these are partially hidden for privacy but the person's full contact details are still stored in the system
- Changes take effect immediately and are visible to all team members
