How to Update Organisation Name

As an Organisation Administrator, you can change your organisation's display name at any time. The new name will appear throughout CAREFUL for all members of your organisation.

• You must be an Organisation Administrator to access this feature
• The new organisation name must be unique across all organisations in the CAREFUL system
• Organisation names can be up to 100 characters long

1. From the sidebar, click My Organization

2. In the top navbar next to your organisation name, click the kebab menu (⋮)

3. From the dropdown menu, click Update Organization Name (marked with a pencil icon)

4. A dialog box appears with the title "Update Organization Name"

5. In the Organization Name field, type the new name for your organisation

   • As you type, the system checks in real-time if the name is already in use
   • If the name exists, you'll see an error: "An Organisation with this name already exists"

6. Click the Submit button

   • The button shows a loading state while processing
   • If there's a validation error, the dialog remains open so you can correct it
   • If successful, the dialog closes automatically

7. The new organisation name appears immediately throughout CAREFUL:

   • In the top navbar
   • In the "My Organization" page title
   • In all references to your organisation across the platform

• Choose a clear, recognisable name - All your organisation members will see this name, so make it easy to identify

• Real-time validation - You'll see errors immediately if you choose a name that's already taken, so you don't waste time submitting an invalid form

• Cancel anytime - Click the X button or click outside the dialog to cancel without making changes

• Changes are immediate - Once you submit, the new name updates everywhere instantly. There's no delay or approval process
