Cancel Pending Contact Change

When a user has initiated a change to their email address or mobile number, organisation administrators can cancel the pending change request before it's verified. This is useful if the change was requested in error or if the user no longer needs the update.

• You must be an Organisation Administrator to cancel pending contact changes for other members
• The user must have a pending email or mobile number change request (indicated by text showing "Pending change to XXX*****" in the Members table)
• Once cancelled, the pending change is permanently removed and the user would need to initiate a new change request

1. From the sidebar, click My Organization
2. Click the Members tab to view all organisation members
3. Locate the user with a pending contact change. You'll see "(Pending change to XXX*****)" displayed below their current contact information in either the Contact or Email column
4. Click the kebab menu (⋮) in the rightmost column of that user's row
5. Select either:
   • Cancel Pending Cell/Mobile Request if they have a pending mobile number change, or
   • Cancel Pending Email Request if they have a pending email change
6. A confirmation dialogue appears asking "Are you sure you want to Cancel the Pending Mobile/Cell Change Request?" (or the email equivalent)
7. Click Yes to confirm the cancellation, or click Cancel to close the dialogue without making changes
8. The pending change is immediately cancelled and the "(Pending change to...)" indicator disappears from the member's row

• You can identify members with pending changes quickly by scanning the Contact and Email columns for the "(Pending change to...)" text
• Both administrators and the users themselves can cancel their own pending changes from their profile page
• If a user has both a pending email and pending mobile change, you'll see both options in the kebab menu
• The original contact information remains active until a new change is verified, so cancelling a pending change doesn't leave the user without contact details
• After cancelling, the members list automatically refreshes to show the updated status
